Local musical favorites The Garbage-Men are coming to Selby Gardens to share their upcycled musical instrument-building ingenuity with you!
Since 2010, The Garbage-Men have been sharing sustainability and creativity with our community by playing music on their unique DIY recycled instruments! Join them for a family-friendly workshop to create a single string slide guitar and learn the basics of how to play it so you can channel your inner George Harrison.
Stick around after class to enjoy a performance by the band on the stage on the Great lawn from 1pm-2pm!
About the Garbage-Men: They’ve performed on CNN, in Times Square, America’s Got Talent, and their PBS special with Jack Perkins won an Emmy.
