In this workshop, we explore two mediums in one. Ink, used here to stamp our own handmade or ready-made rubber stamps, with the addition of watercolors! Start your composition with an abstract watercolor design on beautiful, deckled-edge watercolor paper. Explore the textures you can create with the paper and various additives. As it dries, carve your own medium-sized rubber block to create a printed pattern motif. No prior experience needed in either medium!
- General admission is included in the course fee. We encourage you to come early or stay and enjoy the Gardens after class.
- All materials and supplies for this workshop are included in the tuition.
- You may be working both indoors and outdoors. Please bring water and any items you will need to be comfortable in an outdoor setting.
