Join us for an evening with renowned photographer and conservationist Clyde Butcher at Selby Gardens’ Historic Spanish Point Campus! In the tradition of earlier landscape photographers like Ansel Adams, Butcher captures the beauty and majesty of America’s natural treasures in dramatic black and white. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the exhibition Clyde Butcher: Nature Through the Lens, featuring the iconic artist’s large-scale landscape prints on aluminum set amid the native nature of this beautiful and beloved campus.
Watch the sunset overlooking Little Sarasota Bay and enjoy a cocktail reception with light hors’devours and beverages from Michael’s on East on the 19th Century White Cottage Lawn, Sunken Garden, and Pergola. Each guest will receive a signed copy of Clyde Butcher's book, National Parks Preserves & Monuments.
