Selby Gardens’ full-day cruise-and-tour excursion takes place on select Saturdays. Set Sail with Selby Gardens includes:

• Roundtrip boat transportation along the Intracoastal Waterway between our two campuses
• Educational, interpretive narration of the native nature and regional history you’ll see along the way
• Full access to both the Historic Spanish Point and Downtown Sarasota campuses
• Box lunch at our Historic Spanish Point campus 

Ticketed guests are asked to check in between 9:30am and 9:45am at the Welcome Center desk at the Downtown Sarasota campus. Guests will return back to the Downtown Sarasota campus boat dock at approximately 3:30pm. Guests are welcome to enjoy the Downtown Sarasota campus for the rest of the afternoon until the gardens close at 5pm.

General information:

• This tour is for ages 6 and up.
• Tickets must be purchased in advance.
• Please arrive at Selby Gardens' Downtown Sarasota campus by 9:45 a.m. to check in and be onboard in time for departure.
• Price includes a box lunch. Box lunch includes a standard or a vegan option and needs to be chosen at time of ticket purchase. All boxes include a jumbo chocolate chip cookie,  chips, seasonal fresh fruit, and choice of one beverage from the Café. Additional food items and adult beverages are available at Historic Spanish Point for an additional fee.
  • Standard Option: Turkey wrap with shredded lettuce, apple-wood bacon, swiss cheese, and mayo.
  • Vegan Option: Vegan power wrap with assorted grilled vegetables and hummus.
    • Please note that the wraps are not gluten free. The gluten free option will be a gluten free bread.
• Casual attire is recommended, with footwear suitable for walking and clothing suitable for the weather.
• Please note that there are no restroom facilities aboard the boat. Please use the restroom before boarding.
• The boat is not wheelchair accessible. Guests must be able to walk up and down stairs to access the boat.
• Tours require a minimum number of reservations to sail. If a tour must be cancelled, paid guests will be rescheduled.
• Tours will take place rain or shine. In the event of hazardous weather, the tour will be cancelled and paid guests will be rescheduled.
• If weather prohibits a return trip from the Historic Spanish Point campus, ground transportation will be provided back to the Downtown Sarasota campus.
• Please note that Set Sail with Selby Gardens tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• For your convenience, please have your tickets ready to be scanned at the Welcome Center upon arrival.

Complimentary parking is available inside the LEAF (Living Energy Access Facility), which is accessible from Mound St./US 41 and South Orange Ave.
